Tobacco Shop

Tobacco Shop Detail
More details about a synthetic drug raid at a Dayton smoke shop in March are now available in a five-page report filed by Dayton police on Wednesday.
Although the incident report lists two felony crimes that police say were committed – possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs – no charges have been filed against the store’s owner or employees.
Police with the “Community Initiative to Reduce Gun Violence” and the Dayton narcotics unit searched the Oregon Smoke Shop, 436 E. Fifth St., after tips from residents and area business owners of suspected drug activity.
The report details several undercover purchases that were made at the store leading up the execution of a search warrant on March 7. Those included purchases of bath salts and synthetic marijuana by an informant and a purchase of bath salts by an undercover officer. Police also witnessed several transactions involving both products.
